In honor of National Public Works Week (NPWW), May 19-25, 2024, we are celebrating our Public Works and Wastewater staff! This annual awareness campaign recognizes those working in professions that provide and maintain the vital infrastructure and services collectively known as ‘public works.’ The theme of NPWW 2024 is "Advancing Quality of Life for All.” This year’s poster illustrates how public works professionals contribute to and enhance the quality of life in the communities they proudly serve.
The Public Works and Wastewater departments advance our communities quality of life by providing an infrastructure of services in: water, wastewater, and stormwater treatment, utilities, roadways, parks, public buildings/spaces, emergency management, and first response.
As part of the week’s recognition, we wanted to give special recognition to all our dedicated Public Works and Wastewater staff. They are what make our community a dynamic place to live and work. Join us in celebrating the quiet work these professionals do that makes life better for all of us!
