TDOT will be paving portions of I-840 on Thursday May 14, 2026 to mitigate impacts until the full resurfacing project begins this summer.
This work will only be on Thursday (5/14), 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. on the East Bound Lanes of I-840 between Mile Markers 28 - 30.
This work is taking place ahead of the TDOT full resurfacing project, which begins in July, and is being performed during the daytime due to the emergency nature of the work, as well as the availability of materials and in-house crews.
Full project construction is scheduled for this summer.
